Campus Weekday Visits for Summer 2013
These summer visits offer prospective students an opportunity to sit in on an Admissions presentation and join a campus tour led by one of our student Ambassadors. Our Admissions Counselors will address questions regarding the College’s admissions process and our student Ambassadors will share their current student experience. While we realize that it is often easier for prospective students to visit college campuses during the summer months, TCNJ – like most college campuses – tends to look and feel different when the majority of the student body is not on campus. Those visiting us for the first time over the summer are strongly encouraged to visit us again when fall or spring classes are in session.
Dates:
- TCNJ will host Campus Weekday Visits on select dates between June 10th and August 8th. *Please note that any Summer 2013 Visit dates that have already filled to capacity will not be listed after logging in to our Visit system (see below).
Registration:
- On the left side of this page, New Visitors can ‘Register Now‘ and Returning Visitors can log in to our Visit system with their first name, last name and home phone number. All registered guests will be guaranteed a seat in our Admissions presentation; drop-in guests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis if seats are available.
Transfer Information Sessions and Tours
Contemplating transferring into The College of New Jersey? Whether you are coming from a two-year or four-year institution, we invite you to sit in on a presentation by our Transfer Admissions Counselor and join a campus tour. TCNJ’s Transfer Information Sessions and Tours are designed to inform and assist transfers with the application process, outline application requirements, provide credit evaluation information, and answer any questions that you may have.

Throughout the year, the College hosts Campus Weekday Visits. These visits offer prospective students an opportunity to sit in on an Admissions presentation and join a campus tour led by one of our student Ambassadors. Our Admissions Counselors will address questions regarding the College’s admissions process and our student Ambassadors will share their current student experience. Your walking tour will include various stops across the campus but we encourage you to let our Ambassadors know what you’d like to see before heading home.

Saturday Campus Tours
Many prospective first-year students are anxious to see TCNJ’s campus and learn more about the admissions process but cannot afford to spend the day at one of our Lions Day open house programs or Junior Visit Days. If you are one of these students, we are happy to offer a brief admissions presentation followed by a guided campus tour on one of the following Saturdays:

Lions Day Open House
Our Lions Day events provide guests with an opportunity to explore TCNJ as our new academic year kicks off! You can expect our Deans and Assistant Deans to highlight the unique characteristics of each School’s academic offerings. Join our student Ambassadors on a campus tour or wander the campus on your own!
Lions Days offer various informational sessions designed to meet a variety of interests for prospective students and their families. In addition to admissions Q&As and campus tours, Lions Day guests will have access to faculty and/or administrators from each of our seven academic schools.

Junior Visit Days
Are you a high school Junior eager to get a jump start on your college search? Our Junior Visit Days (held throughout the spring semester) will help you navigate through this unique process. Not only will you learn a great deal about the TCNJ community, but our students and staff will assist you in discovering what type of college is the best “fit” for you, addressing everything from academic programs to support services to financial aid. You will gain advice on preparing for college and find out what living within a college community is all about.

- Spring 2014 Junior Visit Day dates will be posted in January 2014.
Time:
- Junior Visit Day programming will begin at 11AM but guests are encouraged to arrive and check-in between 10 and 10:45AM.
